IF - Cracked / Agrietado

Hace unos días, en la guarde, hice un mosaico con trocitos de cartulina con los niños. Hicimos unas bonitas flores primaverales. Claro, que a ellos les quedó mucho mejor! Más espontáneo e ingenuo... tengo mucho que aprender. En fín, que pensé que sería ideal para el tema de esta semana de "Illustration Friday".

A few days ago, I did a mosaic with little pieces of construction paper with the kids at the playschool, we did some pretty spring flowers. Theirs turned out much better of course! Much more spontaneous and naive... I have a lot to learn! Anyway, I thought it was ideal for this weeks "Illustration Friday" topic.

Experimentos...

Un dibujillo que hice hace tiempo y he terminado de colorear hoy. Experimentaba un poco, en vez de dibujar niños, gatitos, bichitos y otras cositas to tiernas. Vi una modelo posando en una revista de fotografía y me inspiró para hacer esta chica un tanto oscurilla.



I did this drawing a while ago and I've finished colouring it today. I was in a mood for experimenting, instead of drawing kids, cats, cute bugs and other sweet sort of things. I saw a model in a photography magazine, and she inspired me for drawing this girl, slightly on the dark side.

IF - Contagious / Contagioso

En la guardería no hay manera de escapar!!

At playschool there is no way to escape!!

Bueno, prueba superada!! El tema de "Illustration Friday" es "Contagioso". Excusa ideal pa sacar mi guarde, mis niños y cosillas que me pasan! (Todo verídico, eh!). Uno no se escapa de resfriados, gastrointeritis, infecciones y otras cosillas agradables. Hay mocos, vómitos y otras maravillas constantemente por todas partes... pero bueno... luego mis niños también me dan muchas alegrías y buenos ratos. Aunque aquí parezca todo lo contrario!

I did it! Another "Illustration Friday" topic, and this time I am much more satsified. "Contagious" was a good excuse to draw my playschool, my kids and the little adventures that take place every day! (All true, I swear...) There is no escape from colds, stomach bugs, infections and other delights. There is snot, vomit and other nice stuff always about... but I have fun with the little ones too, although here it doesn't seem that way!

IF - Parade / Desfile

Qué semana más dura! Le he dado muchas vueltas al tema, y no quería pasar sin publicar para "Illustration Friday" (demasiado pronto para abandonar!) pero ha costado. El tema no me inspiraba, y mira que es amplio! Bueno, ahí queda el dibujillo, sin terminar, pero no podía dejarlo más tarde que ya estamos a jueves!

What a week! This topic has been going round and round in my head, and I didn't want to miss "Illustration Friday" (too soon to give up!) but it has been really difficult. The topic didn't inspire me at all... Well, this is what I came up with in the end, not finished but couldn't leave it any longer as it's Thursday already!

Por fín cabecera!!!

Por fín me he puesto!!! Estaba deseando tener una cabecera para el blog más interesante que el título impersonal de la plantilla. Me gusta como queda ;P. Creo que me define bastante!

Estoy muy contenta porque estoy en una racha productiva! Ojalá me dure!

He intentado explicarle a mis gatos el concepto de jerarquía, pero no lo pillan...

Llevo mucho tiempo queriendo participar, pero nunca me he animado. Me alegro mucho de haberlo hecho por fín. A ver si lo convierto en una costumbre!!

Felicidades a todas las madres del mundo!!!

Esta mañana, mientras me tomaba el té del desayuno, he abierto mi cajón de los tesoros para buscar inspiración para hacer una tarjetilla para felicitar a mi madre. Sé que en realidad es un día puramente comercial, pero ella se merece todo y más.

Le compré un regalillo y en la tienda me lo envolvieron en un papel que, aunque no era feo, tenía el nombre de la tienda estampado por todas partes, cosa que odio! (Además, a mí me gusta envolver mis propios regalos ;P). Bueno, mirando el papel ví que podía salvar trozos entre los logos, y me inspiró para hacer esto:

Los verdes son más intensos y las mariposillas malvas combinan muy bien, pero el escaner no da pa más!!

Bueno, la veré dentro de unas horas... espero que le guste!!!
